A Woman Invited Her Mother-in-Law to a Homemade Dinner After Months of Being Teased for Her Cooking – That Same Night, Her MIL Called in Tears, Screaming, ‘What Have You Done?!’

I’d always done the laundry, I could vacuum, and I’d picked up a lot about cooking from helping Laura and watching our show (even if I mostly watched her).

I managed the groceries.

But on Wednesday, I spilled juice on the floor right in front of the fridge.

Life without Laura was hard

I grabbed the mop, then paused.

Was I supposed to wet it first, or…?

I reached for my phone.

Laura’s name was at the top. I stopped before touching it.

She hadn’t left so I could call her for mopping instructions from Priya’s guest room.

Was I supposed to wet it first, or…?

I looked at the spill again.

Was I really going to be defeated by a puddle of juice?

I should’ve cried, like I wanted to.

Instead, I made a huge mistake: I called Mom.

Laura’s name was at the top.

“How do you mop up a spill? Do you use a dry mop to soak it up, or wet the mop?”
