The wider mental health crisis is significant. According to CNN, mental health conditions affect as many as one in five women in the United States during pregnancy and the first year after childbirth.

They are also the country’s leading underlying cause of pregnancy-related deaths. Crucially, however, there is no publicly established evidence that Metallica Rose Harrison had postpartum psychosis or any other specific psychiatric diagnosis.

The medication bottles discovered inside the Great Wolf Lodge room do not establish that she had a mental health condition, and investigators have not identified any such diagnosis as a factor in the killings.

The Harrison and Clancy cases remain entirely separate, involving different circumstances, evidence, and legal proceedings.

Family’s Final Hours Remain a Mystery as Autopsies Are Awaited

As of Wednesday, October 14, authorities had not released the results of the planned autopsies or announced a motive for the deaths of Charles Harrison and his 3-year-old son.

Investigators continued examining evidence gathered from Great Wolf Lodge and the family’s Towanda property. Metallica Rose Harrison remained charged with two counts of criminal homicide and is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

But a chilling gap in the family’s final hours remains. Surveillance cameras last documented the family’s return to their hotel room at approximately 11:22 p.m. on October 11.
