“As you know, Patti’s been living with her multiple myeloma for over eight years. But now, thankfully, she is in remission,” he said, according to NME. Bruce thanked the doctors and medical team at Dana-Farber for their care and research.
Patti’s diagnosis had already changed how often she appeared onstage with the E Street Band. She continued to make select appearances rather than performing regularly on tour. Now, two months after Bruce publicly shared the remission update, the family has another major development ahead.
