Clothing, beverage choice, the presence of a dog, or appearance are not indicators of wealth. A very wealthy person might choose to drink water, while someone with limited means might afford a coffee or an occasional outing.
The aim of this puzzle is to show that we tend to judge others solely on their appearance, when reality may be completely different.
