Ask yourself:
Does one face look noticeably different?
Does anyone have a different jaw shape?
Is one person’s forehead, chin, or cheeks different?
Does anyone have a noticeably different neck?
Are the shoulders or body proportions different?
Is someone’s posture unusual compared with the others?
Sometimes these puzzles are designed so that the answer becomes obvious only after you stop looking at the group and start comparing each person individually.
Don’t Be Fooled by the Hair
Another reason this puzzle is difficult is that all seven students have hairstyles that could easily make them appear feminine.
Several have long hair, while others have slightly different hairstyles.
But hair is not necessarily the important clue.
A clever puzzle will often include a distracting feature that causes you to make a quick
assumption. In this case, the similar uniforms and hairstyles can make you think that everyone must be the same.
