My Husband Always Covered His Tattoos in Public – Until a Stranger Recognized One in a Store and Said Something That Made Me Burst Into Tears

For several seconds, he stared at the imperfect drawing.

Then he left it exactly where it was.

Later, I came back into the kitchen.

The picture was still on the table.

Molly had added enormous purple wings.

Brad walked in behind me and stopped.

“Why does my horse have wings?”

Molly looked up.

“Because it needed help.”

Brad picked up the drawing.

For a second, I expected the old reflex.

Instead, he found a magnet.

Then he placed the picture on the refrigerator.

Crooked horse.

Purple wings.

Completely visible.

Molly looked from the drawing to Brad’s uncovered arm.

“Can I color the onion tomorrow?”

Brad spun around.

“It’s a MOON.”

Molly ran away laughing.

Brad stared at the terrible horse on the refrigerator.

Then he touched the unfinished circle hidden beneath his shirt.

This time, he didn’t try to erase either one.
