Their baby will be the first child for the couple. For Jessica’s parents, however, the arrival will mark another addition to a family that entered its grandparent era four years ago. Jessica is Bruce and Patti’s only daughter. People reports that the couple also share sons Evan, 36, and Sam, 32.

Jessica has also established a career of her own in the equestrian world. She represented the United States at the Tokyo Olympics and won a silver medal in team jumping. The father of her first child knows that world well, too.
Nicola Philippaerts Comes From an Equestrian Dynasty
Nicola competes for Belgium and comes from a family with deep roots in show jumping. According to his Longines Global Champions Tour profile, the Belgian rider is the son of Ludo Philippaerts and the twin brother of fellow rider Olivier Philippaerts.
