At Nineteen, My Mother Gave My Room to My Pregnant Twin and Told Me to Leave—Thirteen Years Later, They Pulled Up to My Estate With a Moving Truck and Said, “We’re Family. Open the Gate.”

According to Derek, I had originally agreed to let them stay and then changed my mind when they arrived.

That last one was completely fabricated.

My phone turned into a courtroom.

An aunt I hadn’t spoken to in seven years sent:

Those children are innocent. Whatever issue you have with Lauren should stay between adults.

My cousin wrote:

You seriously have all that property and couldn’t spare two rooms?

An uncle sent:

Family should never have to ask for permission to come home.

That one made me laugh.

Home?

It had never been their home.

I created one message and sent it to everyone.

Lauren and Derek arrived at my private residence with a moving truck, three children, and their belongings without asking whether they could live here. They were clearly told they do not have permission to enter or move in. I will not discuss this again.
