After My Brutal Divorce, I Thought I Had Finally Married a GENTLEMEN — Until My Daughter’s Doctor Asked Me One Question I Couldn’t Stop Thinking About

Every week, the three of them went to the swimming pool together. Mia especially loved those days and would start packing her bag on Friday night. Thomas never missed their school events, and at bedtime he took turns reading stories to them — one night in Sophie’s room, the next in Mia’s.

Sometimes I stood in the hallway listening to them laugh.

Those were the moments when I thought I had finally chosen the right man.

We married a year later.

The first strange thing started with Sophie.

She began going to the bathroom constantly, sometimes waking several times during the night. I assumed it was a urinary tract infection and took her to a pediatric doctor.

At first, the doctor seemed to think the same thing.

But after examining Sophie, her expression changed.

She explained carefully that she had noticed irritation and signs of injury that couldn’t confidently be explained by an ordinary infection alone. She emphasized that it didn’t prove anything by itself, but recommended further evaluation by a specialist and a gentle private conversation with Sophie.
