A Rich Neighbor Refused to Pay After His Son Crashed Into a Young Woman’s Car – Then Karma Came Around the Corner

It needs help again.

“How bad is it?”

“With parts and labor, around twenty-four hundred dollars.”

“You’re kidding.”

“I wish I were.”

“Can I still drive it?”

The trunk’s out of alignment.

“Not safely. Leave it here tonight.”

“I need to get to work tomorrow.”

“I’ve got an old loaner car you can use.”

“Are you sure?”

“Your dad would’ve done the same for me.”

Around twenty-four hundred dollars.

That evening, I delivered Richard a written repair demand.

He skimmed the estimate. “Your car isn’t worth this much.”

“Your son damaged it.”

He tore the paper in half. “Prove it.”

“I have video, photographs, and a witness. I’ll file in small claims court if necessary.”

Your dad would’ve done the same for me.

He stepped closer. “Be careful, little girl. You might regret making an enemy of me.”

I didn’t move.

“Then I suppose we’ll let a judge decide.”

Richard had no idea he should’ve feared me. Karma would soon give me the chance to make him pay.
